Locked cabinets are preferred by people at large because they not only store the documents but also assure safety of them. Most of these are provided with locks for security reasons and sometimes because of this advantage some people store cash or other important things in it. The locking system used for these can be simple or digital. It depends on the model of the cabinet and manufacturer. Nowadays digitized types are preferred so that digital media can be stored safely which if stolen can harm the entire working of an organization.

The market is flooded with a lot of filing cabinets to be used in offices but of the entire lot cheap ones are more in demand by some people. These cheap ones are taken for general use and hence the material used is also not taken into account at times. The hon file cabinets are preferred by those who believe in long term investment because these come with many features and are extremely durable.
